Hilarious Kitchen Fails that’ll make Even the Worst Cook Feel Better

I believe anyone who has ever set foot in the kitchen to cook has a funny story to remember, may be a horrific cake experiment, a cookie shaped like an alien screaming or something else but trust me, we have all been there. We got to admit we all try to be a better cook but we are only human. We err and we witness our own hilarious kitchen fails. These are the time when we need to give us some self-love, because who else can help us get through the funny kitchen disasters. We can fight our battle one day at a time.

Most of the time all we need are kind words, so let me enlighten you can find those kind words by googling 21 beautiful quotes that inspire self-love, or any amount of quotes for that matter, to lift your spirits up...LOL!!

My recent kitchen disaster was a simple recipe of gravy that I was trying to recreate. That recipe is my favorite and I have prepared it several times in the past, but I think that was not my day. I put the gravy on the stove to simmer and somehow forg…

Goa...Our Happy Place

GOA...Our Happy Place
It is that time of the year again 😊 when we plan for our annual trip to GOA. For us, there is no particular month to explore Goa but since our marriage in 2013, me and my husband Ashutosh, have been going to Goa for our annual retreat. Pune City has given me so much - my education, my career, my love ( I met my husband in Pune only for the first time, but that's a different story to tell) and a chance to just reach my happy place anytime of the year within few hours.

Also, let me be straight with you at the beginning of this post. This post is only my way of sharing my thoughts about a place that I love and is in no way a traveler's guide. It's better that you stop here and do not read further if you are looking for places to see in Goa or where to stay kind of information. This post is me reliving my experience.
I am sure most of you, who have been there, will agree that there is a sense of freedom in Goa. My husband visited Goa for the first time …

Baby Steps!!

As I mentioned earlier, I decided to quit my job to move to a new city in 2014.It was not a random decision.

I miss that time but I think it was supposed to end some or the other day. I have learned a lot there which helped me to build my foundation for future.

As I sit here, admiring the shades of evening sky after rain, I am also wondering how these past six months have helped me grow. I am applying for jobs but so far its been a dead end.

However, I have been successful to explore my writing skills at many levels.

Initial three months were bad for me as it was almost impossible for me to picture myself as a stay at home wife. It was nightmare for me to think that I might never get another job. I used to format my resume on daily basis, always looking through job portals and searching job opportunities.

Somewhere in  between those internet searches and desperate desire to start earning again, I came across an advertisement inviting new writers to explore their talents. I registered mys…

Converstions

Have you ever thought why you make sure to stay in touch with some people, no matter what the circumstances are...You may feel the need to talk to them after a certain time, if not every day. Or let’s keep it simple, why do we even interact with other people?
I love to learn how other people think, how they respond to certain situations and how I can learn from them. Their experiences can be different from mine. I like to understand different perspectives and feelings; good, bad, fear, pain, laughter, tears as it gives me a chance to understand life better. I feel a connection so pure, that it gives me strength to move on in my life.
When I moved to a new city, I had not only left that city but also my friends and our small talks during lunch, fun on company outings and weekend gateways etc. I am not very good in keeping touch but I try. But till now, I have been lucky to have friends who have always ensured that I do not feel their absence even if I am miles apart and I am grateful fo…
